Hamburg 29.06.20. With retroactive effect from January 1st 2020, ALVARA Holding GmbH, one of the leading European software providers for the secure cash cycle and logistics, has taken over it kompetenz GmbH which opens up new growth prospects.
Under the umbrella of ALVARA | Digital Solutions it kompetenz will strengthen the software specialists for cash management ALVARA Cash Management Group AG, SAFELOGY SAS as well as MLSA SAS, which has meanwhile merged with SAFELOGY. “With the integration of it kompetenz GmbH into our group of companies, we are creating valuable synergies for our product portfolio, for example in the area of cash center software, track & trace solutions or main cash station software,” says Bernd Hohlfeld, Managing Director of ALVARA Holding GmbH. “Our existing and future customers will benefit from our growing corporate strength and competence.”
For existing customers, the advantages are obvious: They appreciate both the enhanced digitalization and automation of their processes and the addition of new services to the portfolio, such as the monitoring of smart safes, digital driver receipts, ticketing or the centralization of master data.
The acquisition of it kompetenz GmbH also focuses on maintaining and expanding ALVARA | Digital Solutions’ European market leadership in cash handling and the digitalization of cash processes and the networking of all parties involved.
Matthias Schick and Thomas Vietze, the previous owners of it kompetenz, will continue to be responsible for the company’s operational business from Hamburg and take a minority stake in ALVARA Holding GmbH. As part of the transaction, Thomas Vietze has also been appointed as the second member of the Managing Board of ALVARA Cash Management Group AG and Co-Managing Director of ALVARA Holding GmbH with immediate effect.
it kompetenz GmbH will continue to appear with its own company name and its accustomed appearance. The existing contracts between the company and its customers will continue to run seamlessly. The contact persons (incl. function + contact details) will also remain the same.
